Kerala’s Sabarimala Temple opened for devotees for Chithira Attavishesha Puja on Wednesday.
The much-talked-about temple in Pathanamthitta district opened amid the ongoing pandemic. Travancore Devaswom Board informed that the temple would close at 9 pm after the puja. According to the board, devotees will be allowed through the virtual queue booking system.
Board said devotees will have to produce a certificate showing they are fully vaccinated. Board added that devotees can also produce a negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hrs.
Board further said the temple would open for a two-month-long pilgrimage season on November 15. Meanwhile, Kerala reported more than 6,400 fresh Covid cases & over 40 deaths on Tuesday.
